The School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University is the nation’s oldest continuous degree-granting program in criminal justice. Since 1935, MSU has been a leader in criminal justice scholarship - with its distinguished faculty involved in pioneering research, undergraduate and graduate education and collaboration with criminal justice agencies, private firms, and communities.

The School of Criminal Justice in partnership with our Alumni Association board annually honors our tenured faculty who have distinguished themselves in the field of criminal justice by attaining the highest level of professional accomplishment while demonstrating strong personal integrity and character. The standards are extremely high and attract an impressive group of tenured faculty nominations. They represent the "best of the best" in multiple disciplines in the field of criminal justice and are honored during our annual Wall of Fame ceremony.

Eligible candidates may be either living (the Contemporary Honors Division) or deceased (the Historical Honors Division) and nominations may be submitted at anytime but no later then June 30th to be considered for that calendar year.
