SCJ Wall of Fame ||| Inductees

The Michigan State University, School of Criminal Justice Alumni Association annually seeks and accepts nominations of graduates for the School of Criminal Justice Alumni Wall of Fame Award. The selection is made from alumni who have distinguished themselves within the field of criminal justice, while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and character. Eligible candidates may be either living (the Contemporary Honors Division) OR deceased (the Historical Honors Division).

Selection Criteria

Must have a degree from Michigan State University through the School of Criminal Justice or Police Sciences.
Must have attained the highest level of professional accomplishments.
Must have the highest standard of personal integrity and character.
Special honors or recognition may be submitted for consideration.

Selection Process

Individuals or groups may submit nominations.
No self-nominations may be submitted.
Nominations may be submitted at any time.
Completed nominations must be received by the School on or before June 30.
The nominations will be reviewed and selected by a committee comprised of one department administrator/faculty, one student member of ACJA and one member of the School's alumni board of directors.
Multiple winners may be selected each year for the award. The selection committee will determine the number of award recipients.
Any nominees not selected will automatically be reviewed for selection the following year. After that period, candidates will need to be formally nominated again for consideration.

Conferring of Award

The award winner(s) will be notified by The School of Criminal Justice upon selection by the committee.
The Wall of Fame award winner(s), colleagues and/or family members will be invited to the award dinner for the formal presentation.

Please submit the following information:

The completed nomination form.
The nominee's personal resume or professional biography of the nominee,listing all educational achievements & relevant accomplishments in chronological order.
A letter of support by the individual nominating the candidate.

Please ensure that all titles and personal information are accurate.

Alumni Wall of Fame Nomination Form

The School of Criminal Justice in partnership with the Alumni Association Board annually seeks and accepts nominations of graduates for the School of Criminal Justice Alumni Wall of Fame Award. The selection includes alumni who have distinguished themselves within the field of criminal justice, while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and character. Eligible candidates may be either living the (Contemporary Honors Division) OR deceased the (Historical Honors Division).

No nominee will be considered unless the entire form is completed.
