Chat Room

In order to connect and chat on our server you will need a 3rd party IRC software. The one we recommend is mIRC. But you can use what ever IRC software that your are either familiar with or rather use.

First if you don't have any IRC software you will have to download it.

Here is a list of IRC software downloads.

After downloading and installing the software for your computer platform, you will have to add this needed information for the chat server.

Add a new server and name it D.A.R.E. Michigan

Where it asks for IRC Server put in 35.8.31.158

Where is asks for Ports put 6667

And then fill in where it asks for Name, E-Mail address, Nickname and so on.

Once you have all the needed information in then you can connect to the internet, launch the IRC software and connect to the CHAT SERVER.

Type /list to bring up a list of available channels and select the channel that you want to chat in.
