The Dae H. Chang International Scholar Invitational Endowment provides support for international scholars to annually visit the School of Criminal Justice giving our students and faculty the privilege of learning from their criminology research. Our students and faculty have had the opportunity to learn from renowned scholars, Professor Shlomo Giora Shoham, faculty of law, Tel-Aviv University, Gloria Laycock the Director of UCL Jill Dando, Institute of Crime Science, University College, and Jennifer Wood, Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Temple University. Dae H. Chang graduated from Michigan State University, with a BA 1957, MA 1958 and a Ph.D, 1962. Dr. Chang began his career as a police officer in South Korea and later pursued a career in academics as an Assistant Professor of Sociology, Olivet College and retired as a Professor Emeritus, Wichita State University, Kansas.
