The Offender-Focused Interviewing Symposium

This one day eight-hour training will provide a robust discussion related to theory and practice in interviewing methods applied in various criminal justice settings. The focus will primarily involve interviewing techniques for individuals who commit sexual offenses and sexually motivated violence, with the intent of sharing insights into different styles and techniques and their practical value in arrest, prosecutorial, forensic, and therapeutic settings. Attendees will leave the symposium with unique insights into offender-focused approaches and interview methodologies, with applications that can inform daily practice.

Training will be MCOLES certified for police officers
