Curriculum Vitae


Makayla Mason is a Doctoral Student in the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University. Her research interests include victimology, domestic violence, and intimate partner violence. Makayla received her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University graduating Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors and Academic Distinction in 2020. Makayla also published an undergraduate honors thesis that examined Chinese police cadets' attitudes toward domestic violence from first-hand data collected in China.
